School Supplies for 2009-2010 School Year

Parents: Please re-use any of the supplies you already have from this year- do not feel that you need to buy everything brand new. A local store - “Ship It & More” will be carrying all our supplies and will have everything packaged together by class to purchase from them. Ship It & More is located at 70 North Main Street, across from The Great Outdoors. The phone number is 454-8403.

Art Supply List For Each Child

• Smock or cover up (an old adult size shirt works well). Please write your child’s name on the shirt with a Sharpie.
Plastic pocket folder (no prongs)
No. 2 pencils
Large pink eraser
Large white glue stick
Elmer’s school glue
8 count Crayola Crayons
8 count Crayola colored pencils
Craypas (oil pastels)
Crayola washable thick markers
Crayola washable thin markers
Crayola or Prang watercolors with brush
Wooden ruler
Fine paint brush
Thick paint brush
1 gallon zip lock bags to hold the above with your child’s name and grade on it

If you have any of these lying around and would like to donate, we will put them to good use:
Old magazines
Old shoeboxes with lids (plastic also)
Old craft supplies
Old string/yarn
Pasta, especially macaroni style we can string

Mrs. Earnhart-Kindergarten Supplies

• 4 Homework Folders — NO PRONGS/Pockets only (1 purple, 1 red, 1 blue and 1 yellow)
• Backpack or Book Bag (non-rolling)
• Clorox wipes
• I bottle of Hand Sanitizer
• 1 package of paper plates
• 2 reams of copy paper
• I box of Tissue
• I roll of paper towels
• 1 box of knives (boys only)
• 1 box of spoons (girls only)
• 3 oz. PAPER cups
• Snack Items for Classroom: Ritz Crackers, Fruit Loop Cereal, Goldfish, Individual Packaged Snacks, etc. Anything that is quick, fast and low in sugar.

Mrs. Friar-First Grade Supplies

• (2) 2 Pocket folders (no prongs) in red and blue (prefer plastic)
Compostion Notebook
Crayola type crayons (small box of 8 or 16)
Plastic pencil case with lid
Pink erasers
Box of colored pencils (small box of 8 or 12)
Thin dry erase markers (2 or 3)
Used sock (small) to use with dry erase board
Back pack (non rolling)
Clorox wipes
Baby wipes
1 ream of copy paper (more if you would like to donate)
4 Tennis balls (these may be used; they will go on our chair legs)
Paper towels and plates
Plastic spoons and forks
Individual tissue boxes (not pocket size)
Glue sticks for Spanish and classroom

To keep at home assisting in homework, your child will need:
primary color crayons, a ruler with cm and inches, eraser, #2 pencils, and a pair of scissors.

Mrs. Manning-Second Grade Supplies

• Two, 2-pocket folders (No prongs; preferably navy blue or blue. The plastic kind work well and hold up for the entire school year.)
3-ring binder (1” or 2”)
Six dividers
Elmers glue sticks
Clorox wipes
Markers (preferably Crayola-type washable)
Dry erase marker (1 or 2; the thin ones work well)
Pencil box
Wide-ruled notebook paper
Index cards
Bible
Backpack or book bag (non-rolling)
One sock (doesn’t have to be new; we will use for individual dry erase boards)
Crayons
Colored pencils
Pencils
Red pen
Kleenex
Child-friendly scissors
Erasers (for example, Pink Pearl)
Tennis balls (these may be used; they will go on our chair legs)
Sandwich bags

Third Grade Supplies

• (2) 2-Pocket Folders for Homework
• 12 Pencils (no mechanical pencils, please)
• 1 Pencil Box
• 1 Sock to use as an eraser for the student dry-erase boards
• 1 thin Dry-Erase Marker (Vis-à-vis works best)
• 1 package of Colored Pencils
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 1 Composition Book
• 2 Glue Sticks
• 1 package of small pencil-top erasers or pencil grips
• 1 package of large erasers
• 2 packages of Wide-Ruled Notebook Paper
• 3 packs of Sticky Notes
• 1 package of Copy Paper
• 1 package of Index Cards
• 1 container of Clorox Wipes
• 4 Tennis Balls (these may be used; they will go on our chair legs)
• Backpack or Book Bag, non-rolling
