School Supplies for 2010-2011 School Year

Mrs. Earnhart - Kindergarten Supplies

• 4 Homework Folders — NO PRONGS/Pockets only (1 purple, 1 red, 1 blue and 1 yellow...please do NOT put name on these)
• NO Backpacks - Students will need to pre-purchase carry pouch from office
• Clorox wipes
• 2 reams of copy paper
• I roll of paper towels
• 1 box of knives (boys only)
• 1 box of spoons (girls only)

• 1 package of 6 in. paper plates (boys only)
• 1 package of large (9 in.) paper plates (girls only)
• 1 Package of CLEAR (9 oz.) cups

• 1 package of PAPER (9 oz.) cups
• 1 plastic pencil case with lid
• 1 box of crayons
• 1 box of #2 pencils (just plain since pencils with plastic covered/designs damage pencil sharpener).
• snack items for classroom: Ritz Crackers, Fruit Loop Cereal, Goldfish, Individual Packaged Snacks, etc. Anything that is quick, fast and low in sugar.

Homework Needs:

Please keep the below items in a "Homework Box". This box will stay at home so your child will be ready to complete homework.

Mrs. Friar - First Grade Supplies

Composition Notebook
Crayola crayons (small box of 8 or 16)
Plastic pencil case with lid
• (2) each - Plastic pocket folders (no prongs) in red, blue, green
Pink Pearl Erasers
Glue sticks
• Pre-purchase carry pouch from office (NO Backpacks)

Clorox wipes
Tissue boxes
Paper towels
Plastic spoons
Copy paper - white or colored

• Small mat to keep in lunch box for placemat use


To keep at home assisting in homework, your child will need:
Primary color crayons, a ruler with cm and inches, eraser, #2 pencils

Mrs. Johnson - Second Grade Supplies

• Two, 2-pocket folders (with prongs; preferably navy blue or blue. The plastic kind work well and hold up for the entire school year.)
3-ring binder (1” or 2”)
Six dividers
Elmer's glue sticks
Clorox wipes
Markers (preferably Crayola-type washable)
Dry erase marker (1 or 2; the thin ones work well)
Pencil box
Wide-ruled notebook paper
Index cards
Bible
Backpack or book bag (non-rolling)
One sock (doesn’t have to be new; we will use for individual dry erase boards)

Mrs. Brittain - Third Grade Supplies

• (2) 2-Pocket Folders for Homework
• 12 Pencils (no mechanical pencils, please)
• 1 Pencil Box
• 1 Sock to use as an eraser for the student dry-erase boards
• 1 thin Dry-Erase Marker (Vis-à-vis works best)
• 1 package of Colored Pencils
• 1 box of Kleenex
• 1 Composition Book
• 2 Glue Sticks
• 1 package of small pencil-top erasers or pencil grips
• 1 package of large erasers
• 2 packages of Wide-Ruled Notebook Paper
• 3 packs of Sticky Notes
• 1 package of Copy Paper
• 1 package of Index Cards
• 1 container of Clorox Wipes
• 4 Tennis Balls (these may be used; they will go on our chair legs)
• Backpack or Book Bag, non-rolling
• Bible (anything you have at home already is fine - I use an NIV Bible in class)

• 2 - 1 1/2" 3-ring binders
• 2 packages of dividers
• 1 box of #2 pencils (24 count) (just plain - pencils with plastic cover/ design damage pencil sharpener)
• erasers for pencil tops and 2 large pink ones
• pens for grading (any color except black, please)
• Clorox wipes
• Hand sanitizer
• 2 reams of copy paper
• 4 packs of notebook paper (2 wide ruled and 2 college ruled)
• colored pencils (12 pack)
• glue sticks (2)
• crayons (24 pack)
• fiskar scissors
• Bible (any version that's easy to understand and read)
• Dry erase markers (EXPO please)
• zipper pencil pouch for 3-ring binder
• sticky notes (2 7/8" X 2 7/8")
• package of highlighters
• tissues
• 4 Tennis Balls (these may be used; they will go on our chair legs)

Since the students will be changing classrooms throughout the day, some of the supplies will be used within the classroom by all students. Your child will carry the pencil pouch with them to each classroom. Therefore, this pouch will need to include a few pencils, pens, sticky notes, an eraser, and a highlighter. All other supplies will be distributed by the teacher on an as needed basis. Thanks so much!!
